Patty Starr, owner of Let’s Get Started
Patty has had a varied people-oriented career for over 40 years. In her previous job as part of the marketing team at Cascade Manor retirement community, she helped over 100 new residents with their move-in process. While in this position, she noticed that all the residents moving in had the same challenge in common; downsizing.
After seeing firsthand the positive impact of living with fewer items and less stress, she decided to start her own organizing and downsizing service. She helps people of all ages to declutter their homes or office, but her primary focus is on helping older adults. Downsizing can be an overwhelming task, and Patty’s service decreases her client’s stress. When moving into a senior care community, Patty’s artistic eye and organizing skills come into place when she creates a safe and welcoming space as the client’s new home.
When selling the home, Patty will help her clients stage the house to be ready for a successful sale.
Patty is a member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing, the Eugene Downtown Lions Club, and the McKenzie River Chamber of Commerce.
